This number was provided to an elderly woman stating her credit card had been used to make a very large purchase from Amazon, an obvious scam, preying upon the elderly who may be less than savvy with electronics and the rampant scams that plague the internet. She called the number shown and began giving her personal information to them, when I intervened and asked her if she called the number on the back of her credit card or if she clicked a link, which is when she said she clicked a link that called this number. She immediately hung up the phone. If I wasnt there to stop her, the scammers would have taken advantage of her bewildered state of confusion and panic. It is so pathetic that people think its a good idea to scam others, I pray theres a special place in hell for those people.
