I did not let them harass me but the Indian sounding lady said she was from Microsoft and they are getting error codes on my computer. I told her I did not ask Microsoft to call me an NO you did not get an error code. She may be speaking about my laptop which was hacked some time ago and I had Geek Squad clean it last year and the virus protection just expired but I already purchased a 2 yr version that was being blocked from installing, took it back Geek Squad said I needed to renew their plan which included the 1 yr Webroot virus version I did not want, but my computer is saying lifecycle ended and since my laptop is about 4-5 yrs old it may be too old to install anything new since I know Windows 11 is coming out soon and my computer may not be useful for the future change from Windows 10. I do have a new desktop computer but wanted to let my grand daughter use the laptop but wanted it secure for her. So when I told this person she did not get an error on my computer with a very loud and mean voice to her she just hung up and I blocked the number also because I did not want them to try and trap my phone either even though I have 2 virus protection on it not that that matters I heard. I was curious and wanted to report this incident quickly.
